Karnataka Anila Bhagya Scheme – The State Government of Karnataka led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr.Siddaramaiah is going to launch a new scheme for providing free LPG gas connections to the families belongs to Below Poverty Line (BPL) in the month of December.
Karnataka Anila Bhagya Scheme
Under the state government’s Anila Bhagya scheme, all the eligible beneficiaries can avail the benefits of a gas connection, a gas stove and two cylinder refills. According to the information provided by the Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader, application forms for the scheme can be filed online.
Registration Process for Karnataka Anila Bhagya Scheme
The registration process for the scheme is expected to begin in the next 15 days. As per the information, the ministry will need one month to process the applications. The state government we will launch the scheme in the month of December. Apart from this, under the Karnataka Government’s Anil Bhagya Scheme, all the BPL families of the state who do not have a gas connection can apply for the scheme to avail the benefits.
How to Apply for Karnataka Anila Bhagya Scheme
All the eligible and needy BPL families of the state can visit the nearest gram panchayat in rural areas and to ward offices in urban areas in order to apply for the scheme. For applying for the scheme, applicants will have to present their Aadhaar Card. Once the application is filed, the name of the applicant will be cross-checked with the Socio-Economics Caste Census list to make sure they are not beneficiaries of the Centre’s Ujjwala scheme, which provides a gas connection and a gas stove but the consumers have to pay for the stove. The cost per beneficiary for the Anila Bhagya scheme would be `4,040, which will be fully borne by the state government. The total cost incurred is expected to be `1,100 crore and above. The Centre’s scheme Ujjwala has failed to take off in the state as they are expected to have only 6-7 lakh beneficiaries.
After filling the application form, the name of the applicant will be cross-checked with the SECC List (Socio-Economics Caste Census) list in order to check that the applicant is not a beneficiary of the Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana under which a gas connection and a gas stove are provided.
Karnataka Anila Bhagya Scheme Gas Connection Cost
Under the State Government’s LPG Connection Scheme, the cost per beneficiary would be Rs. 4,040. This amount will be totally borne by the state government. Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has failed to launch in the state as they are expected to have only 6-7 lakh beneficiaries.
