Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana Launched in Assam – Apply Now

On Sunday, the Chief Minister of Assam Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal launched the Central Government’s ambitious scheme Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). During the launching program, he distributed LPG connections to beneficiaries in Majuli.

On the Launching Program, CM Sarbananda Sonowal said that the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) realizes PM Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering underprivileged women, especially in rural areas by providing a healthy and safe environment.

Earlier, the launching of PMUY, CM Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the Majuli and Jengrai-Haldhibari roads in Majuli. During its inauguration program, CM Sonowal said that the upgradations works of the two roads will greatly boost connectivity.

Before this, on Saturday, the Sonowal honored the rank holders, distinction and star mark holder HSLC and HS candidates of Majuli district at the Majuli College auditorium.

During this event, Sonowal stated that it fills me with great pride to see students of my constituency shine in all spheres.

CM Sonowal informed that Majuli should be a model of spiritual and intellectual development for the entire state. In this regard, CM appealed students to monitor all development schemes in the district and forge ahead with hard work.

Yesterday, CM Sonowal disclosed an android mobile application for expanding information on Satriya culture, Missing culture, carbon registry, information on hotels, transport, lodges, car mechanic, car rentals and all information regarding district administration, etc., of Majuli.
